So, the first packing and moving is done. And I'm on to the next one. The bedroom is now thronged with loads of unpacked stuff, souvenirs, stuff that don't belong anywhere. It's a mess! I've just shipped over two boxes of personal items and realised that..... (behold) that I was looking at the wrong scale when I was weighing the item. So, I thought I had hit the maximum of 30kg and removed out some of the stuff, when actual fact was..the bloody box was only 12 kg. Darn, classic case of my absent mindedness. I'm sure there will be more of that in Japan.
Souvenirs. Everyone says don't get too stressed out by it. Everyone says it won't make or break your relationship with anyone. That being said, with so much discussion going around it, it's hard not to get caught up by it. I've bought so much Singapore related collaterals that (I quote Gavin's words) I'm like freaking presenting Singapore for Miss Universe. I have also resorted to stealing NDP zocards from restaurants.
On a more positive note, I'm signed upfor a Mount Fuji trek in August! I hope the weather holds up!
